Sometimes it may takes years or it would be a short lived ideas that would never work, In the case of Mang Cesar, there’s an opportunity to put that name, brand, and content all together.

Busog Meal | Breakfast Combo

Breakfast meals is a rare thing as something being sold as an instant meal, but 7 Eleven continue to pull punches and experiment trying new things that can be as they say “convenient” to have. With their Busog Meal range it was just the basic Filipino lunch meal that they continue to produce and adding a breakfast meal makes sense.

They already have the breakfast omelette, but never a combo that features three viands with a rice. They’ve already have this for a while, but rarely everyone would even grab it for lunch as most in their minds this is ‘only for breakfast’ when you can also have it as a lunch meal as an alternative to not just be hindered in thinking this is only good to have in the morning.

Hotta Ulam | Lechon Sisig

“Ulam” is a Filipino word loosely translated in English as Viands or side dish. It’s the best pair up when having rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s mostly a home cooking that makes it even better. But as an instant frozen dish has been around with different brands making their version of what is a Filipino ‘home cooking’ as an instant without the need to prepare and cook it from the ground up.

There have been brands that have produced their version of an instant viand or “Ulam” to take home and just cook rice to pair with it. Way back a full decade ago there was the brand called Ulalammm that was rebranded to Ulalamammm Plus, and then local pastry and restaurant Goldilocks have their take that for some that’s unknown.

Busog Meal | Jumbo Sisig

“Busog” is a Filipino word that means “Full” or “Stuffed” from all that eating. It can be a word to describe a person that be phrased as, “He looks Busog” or another word for Chunky.

But in more than ways it is named after 7 Eleven’s cheapest range of meals that you can easily buy, and why it was named after this word. Because it will really made you feel stuffed from having a cheap thrill with their meals.

There’s a good and not-so positive way to have a Busog Meal, but when times are tough and you have very limited budget just to survive the day, you have to find creative ways to even have a meal that will get you through it.

Chef Creations | Sisig by Manam Express

Sisig is a Filipino dish most commonly seen paired up with beer in local pubs or bars. It is also a favourite to have during lunch and it is basically made from parts of a pig's face and belly, and chicken liver which is usually seasoned with calamansi, onions, and chili peppers. It is one of the delicacy that everyone starts with a conversation.

Because they mix everything in it, and wait while you have a convo. But the one being sold at 7 Eleven doesn’t need no mixing of the egg on tops of the Sisig, and it is one of the Chef Creations in collaboration with Manam Express, a local fast food resto that brings you to the spotlight of how it is different to have an instant version.
