Sweet X Manila | The Last Burger Run

When news came out that one of the local burger joints in Makati would be closing its old location after 12 years of serving their loyal customers, and today was the last chance to have that nostalgia again is something you had to do to support them. This was one of Sweet X Manila’s older branches. They’ve been in this location since opening it as their second store in 2014. Most of their current locations are now set indoors. This one had the outdoor feel to it, and yet the experience should be upgraded to be set indoors as well. Basically, they are moving this store to a location a few doors down on Jupiter Street.

10.29.2018 - Sweet X Manila, or known originally as Sweet Ecstasy, is a local burger joint founded in 2012 by three people. From then on, this family-owned burger joint has carved out a place in the local scene with its high-quality menu and good service from the hardworking staff, which is why this place is successful and continues to serve not only its regulars and friends but also those who discover it. I’ve been wanting to visit their closest branch, as their original store is way too far from where I was. But the opportunity to visit was on Sunday night after a long day of traveling to places I rarely visit. But this one was just right up where my route was while heading back from this Sunday’s adventure.

Best known internationally as chicken restaurant franchise from South Korea it has become one of the favorite places right now in the places with their original meals. Rarely the place to go but for Fish n’ Chips why not? There’s no better alternative after having it somewhere in the world like previously from Australia a year ago. Bon Chon has Fish n’ Chips in their menu, but their chickens are the hot seller that made the franchise is known globally and here weighing in how authentic these chips are.

01.10.2014 – Wendy’s is rarely in the picture when you talk about eating fast food. It’s because they are putting value in what you eat. From their fries, burgers, and other things that the big two (Jollibee and McDonald’s) don’t serve the red haired girl in the logo has figured to stand out. If you’re a typical consumer who just goes eat anywhere then maybe you can put a little bit value on what you devoured on a daily basis. Wendy’s may not attract the Filipino masses because ‘this will do’ mentality is not the answer to everyday eats just because of value for money.
