The packaging is similar to the Big Time Meals reduced in size with its “7 Eleven Fresh” branding, where this product is part of. You can see on the plastic top a partial view of the product frozen and ready to be heated for microwave.
Of course, the size is also the concern that you expect that the contents will be more once you remove the plastic cover, when it reveals that 60% percent of the pasta is taking the space why the remaining part have two slices of garlic bread to compliment the dish, which is the way it is served.
Picturesque Pasta
From product image to actual product, the Baked Macaroni looks good and taste good for a very affordable price. Despite the questionable food portions this is some of the best part of 7 Eleven making it right with this dish.
It is understandable why it is not offered for lunch, but for an afternoon snack. But the way Baked Macaroni goes, this is a still considered a heavy meal even though the preferred tiny portion is what it is put on this black tiny tub.
Not-so Garlic Bread
There are two slices of Garlic Bread included in this dish, but they’re a bit soft and not the usual one that is served together with a Baked Macaroni. There are other convenient stores that offered their take on the Baked Mac, but 7 Eleven tries to make it authentic that suffered a little with the portions.
But to balance out and keep quality, 7 Eleven’s take on the Baked Macaroni still delivered the goodness on homemade pasta. But it is not enough to satisfy your cravings with that limited amount that needs a second or third go around.
Overall it is affordable and the quality is there with how the Baked Macaroni by 7 Eleven truly delivered. But what was not satisfying is the quality of the garlic bread, and how understandable to bring the price point down by only serving the Baked Mac in this kind of portion, which is greatly needed to really match the cost and price.
- Food Quality: 4 out of 5
- Affordability: A
- Overall: Pasta serving is small, Garlic Bread needs improvement.
