McDo Listens | Customer Service Concerns

It is rare that the term “Customer Service” is valued that most of the world had a complaint how it is done. It is also a novelty that some companies would be open for a survey on how they perform in handling their customers. McDonald’s Philippines is one of those companies to have that kind of courage in wanting to know what their customers think.

For those who are unaware about the survey site McDoListens.com for all its intent is a survey for the Filipino owned American company. But you’ll be surprised that it is also where you can give your complaints from how they serve the food to the delivery challenges you experienced.

The question there is, does McDonald’s REALLY Listen? Or is it just a marketing ploy to collect data on what their customers think about the brand in the Philippines. Because the ones in other countries like in Australia it is obvious they value their customers and without hesitation the experience of going to their local stores are WAY BETTER and the app called “My Maccas” is certainly something that can be duplicated, but for the stingy way McDo Philippines does to their customers in what they claim to be trained for “World Class” seemed to be only Philippine Class that is way below average.

So you want to complain to McDonald’s Philippines but can’t get your message out because they can only reply to positive things on their Facebook page. All you need is just access McDoListens.com and here are the steps to do it for you to read below:

STEP ONE

You access McDoListens.com on your mobile phone or desktop. But I would suggest you access it using a desktop computer to better have a best perspective of the site when you visit it. When you access it the opening page asks s if you want the language in English or Filipino. Once you have chosen the preferred language it will take you to the next step.

STEP TWO

You need an official receipt that you ordered with that particular food or drink, and in that you will find the FIRST FOUR DIGIT NUMBER on top that says “Official Receipt” with too many numbers in them. You only need to use the first for digits and once you enter the numbers it will take you to the next one.

STEP THREE

Once you end up to this page it will ask you for your email. IMPORTANT NOTE is that you must have an email because at the end of the survey it will ask you for it to confirm as your contact.

STEP FOUR

The Next page will take you the motions with the first inquiry if you had your experience Dine-In or you ordered for your delivery. There’s a selection on the list (SEE IMAGE ABOVE) that would be helpful before you get to the nitty-gritty of your concern.

STEP FIVE

You need to enter the date when you had dine-in or ordered your take out meal. The details will also be available on your receipt that’s the reason it is important to keep one in case you have encountered with a bad experience with the store or McDelivery.

The Next Step will be a series of survey questions if you rate the lowest it will prompt you to explain your situation and then that’s where most complaints or bad experience can be given. It will be a slow process but you get the message out that this is not going to go away on your end that you have been given a bad experience or bad service with a particular store or if McDelivery was terrible.

Towards near the end of the survey it will prompt you if they want to call you back or you can decline if you give a very low rating on their survey for having that unforgettable bad experience. After that it will ask for your gender and age group following that is a thank you message.

Of course, they will send you an email notification because after that they will give you a FREE soft serve Sunday. But after that bad experience would you accept a cheap ploy to let you forget what you experienced? I won’t because like any customer deserves better right? This is the reason why they put up the survey for them to improve and not disregard customer concerns.

But the truth still lingers if McDonald’s Philippines really listened?

Answer the survey, give your complaints, and don’t forget to keep your receipt.
