McDo Bankmer | Robotic Service

McDonald’s Bankmer is one of the frequent branches that have so many customers due to foot traffic just across the Ayala Triangle Gardens that is also the Makati Stock Exchange. It would consider this branch to be located at the heart of the Central Business District despite smaller than the former store at JAKA 6780 near Valero Street that closed sometime in 2018.

With all that this branch should have incorporate the “McDo NXTGEN” store concept, a change on the ordering process of the food and probably added a self-service kiosk. But even though this branch didn’t get any upgrades it gets so many customers that it can compete with the one in Buendia due to the strategic location and with that you’ll notice how things are chippy with this place.

The lights are dim and the floors are not bright but regardless of deteriorating aesthetics this branch gets so many customers due to the location being near the pick-up and drop off for buses and jeepneys. It is probably the last stop for most people going home after work or having a breakkie before starting the day at the office and so the lines are longer during the start of the day, mostly lunch, and sometime during tea time. Of course service will be straight business as things goes along, but not customer service-centric that should matter.

The deteriorating place is obviously not concern as long as they are getting the money, but the customer service well it is obvious how that went down south. The personalities in that store are like blind mice that don’t know what they’re doing that some just stands around as observant I’m an order would only take less than 10 minutes but long lines at counter looks like you’re waiting for nothing.

This Guy needs to be sent back to training for being impolite.

Seriously. No protective lid means McDo branch in Bankmer only cares for the environment, not for their customers.

Lid-less to say if your drink is spilled they won't replace it and just make a mess out of your table.

I ordered a Burger McDo (since we do not have ANY other decent choice) and Chicken McNuggets Happy Meal. Usually, I order both regular drinks in one large cup with a plastic lid to avoid spilling it. But the guy taking my order lacks the understanding and politeness that this store claims training their staff for “World Class” and it is unbelievable and appalling to see such manner to be only Filipino Standards meaning just a scrape of a rubbish bin.

Every McDonald’s branch I dine-in has its own set of problems and it is always the zero customer service I get for being treat in such a way that your just a number on their list or just like a car in a factory that after assembly you’re off to the next one. The issue with this one is they refuse to give me a plastic lid because it’s for takeout customers. It is an environmental concern for them to issue dine-in customers with plastic lid and straws. But they allow takeout customers to have one sound like they’re contradicting themselves when I only need a plastic lid for my drink to avoid spilling specially when it is a large pineapple drink that the guy put on my tray like he doesn’t care.

Despite no other way to have a Cheeseburger for your Happy Meal you have to get this "localized" Burger McDo.

McDonald's serves a Hamburger that has a pickle, onions, and a meaty patty not this crap called "Burger McDo."

This must have been re-cooked several times to see the texture of this Chicken McNuggets looks weird.

The food itself is terrible closely with the Burger McDo in itself the worse “localized” burger to replace the original McDonald’s Hamburger, but we have no choice because they don’t sell Cheeseburger as an alternative that is optional in Australia.

Whenever I order the Happy Meal or any regular McDonald’s meal I try not to get into details why they’re the worse quality I’ve seen aesthetically and how they taste in comparison to the ones I had the chance to dine-in a foreign country. I just close my eyes and imagine I’m still in South Australia having a hamburger with pickles, onions and that tasty patty not the localized garbage that they replace in the early 2000s that most of my colleagues would describe it taste like a sole of a battered rubber shoes.

points. It is not about how the store looks it is the attitude of the staff that reflects the company’s image. You represent a well-known brand but some of the staff looks like they never really appreciate working in this job. Honestly, if you don’t like the job go somewhere and find what makes you passionate and happy about.

This is the problem with most employees and what I learned living in another country that even though you work on a clean store with all the essentials but your heart is not in it certainly the company suffers and this is why McDonald’s Philippines sucked. It also shows it is just about getting their customer’s money and not about really giving the value what is customer service a sorry state in this company that continues to fail everywhere in the Philippines.

Outdated aesthetics this toilet needs to have double doors like all of McDonald's in Australia.

Taking a look and observing the store’s aesthetics the toilet is filthy despite being cleaned it supposed to have double doors as all the McDonald’s stores in Adelaide have two doors. The reason for this is the smell and the hygiene no matter how you clean it if the set-up for toilets are not properly build you know how bad they set-up this place that seriously need an upgrade.

Other than that this store needs a slap of reality to fix the personnel in treating their customers and stop making excuses not serving their consumer’s drinks without a protective lid. Environmental or not it’s really not thinking straight just to make an excuse. Overall this place is terrible the way it was too congested with too many staff but none of them manning the cashiers just standing there like robots waiting for their command to the job which is absolutely ridiculous.
