Enter, the Bacon & Cheese with Corn Egg-Drop Sandwich! It was long overdue to expand this small line-up of Korean-style snacks with the new addition of Bacon & Cheese with Corn Egg-Drop Sandwich, it is quite a mouthful when you pronounce it that it just keeps you interested in having the sandwich itself.
This certainly dropped out of nowhere as the colour of the packaging was not light purple like the original Cheesy Egg-Drop Sandwich that is still available in most 7-Eleven outlets. You have to appreciate the convenience of having a unique sandwich without the need to prepare and cook for it.
Dropping Like an Egg
The K-Style Bacon & Cheese with Corn Egg-Drop Sandwich is similarly packaged like its predecessor. But in a soft hue of red the words “Bacon & Cheese” in large font will catch your attention as it is pretty much straightforward with the sandwich is a new addition to the previously released three K-Style Sandwiches.
You can see the comparison of how similar they look, but the flavour is certainly blurted in large letters that the Bacon & Cheese sandwich is here ready for you to chomp on your grills to enjoy the goodness of another K-Style Egg-Drop Sandwich.
Not A Corny Sandwich
This sandwich may not tell you some corny jokes, but when you take a bite of it you’ll be surprised by the amount of corn in there despite the words “with Corn” in tiny letters besides “Bacon & Cheese” can be hardly noticed. It adds flavour already to a nearly perfect sandwich that people should get their hands on.
Just like the original K-Style Egg-Drop Sandwich it maintains the creamy goodness that is consistent with this one changing it from Ham & Egg to Bacon & Cheese is a step-up for the K-Style branding, which would continue to expand new sandwiches that are not common that Korea has to offer.
Overall, it is pretty much a sold-out sandwich just like the previous releases as the trend of “Going Korean” continues to dominate in the Philippines from Pop Culture that includes music, television, and the food that Korea has to offer skies the limit for 7-Eleven to experiment and find the middle ground of Korean and Filipino flavours all rolled into one snack.
- Food Quality: 4 out of 5
- Affordability: B+
- Overall: This new addition to the K-Style Sanck is mouthwatering. One of the Best.
