Four years later the “Secret Menu” was slowly integrated into McDonald’s Philippines regular menu, and you won’t even notice it if you frequently using the self-ordering machines that has become part of their system as a major change in out “self-service” has slowly been integrated for the local to be using instead of just standing there and barking at the staff.
The Double McChicken can still be ordered just a thorough look at their ever growing menu for hamburgers and other sandwiches. It is mostly getting unnoticed how a Double McChicken is an improvement on the usual Double Cheeseburger.
Double the Chicken
Just like the usual burger/sandwich from McDonald’s you get it wrapped in its specific McChicken wax paper wrapper. But it doesn’t indicate that it is a “Double” McChicken from the regular version and the new one that has lettuce and tomatoes.
The rebranding with all the changes with how the graphic across the McDonald’s Philippines clearly shows the streamline on how you identify the food you ordered. Of course the Double McChicken is considered a heavy weight to have as an alternative.
Twice the Poultry
The beef patties are not as thick as these two bone-less chicken meat and it does show how good they are than just the singular sandwich. Obviously, the mayo and onions certainly looks like overflowing on one side and that’s a good thing visually.
Internally when you look inside it really needs some more of that. But other than this nitpick the rest was great. The chicken sandwich is all the rage, and the Double McChicken has arrived just in time to fill your lunch with something poultry goodness.
It’s no longer a secret and it is one of the best sandwiches from McDonald’s that continues to expand their brand in getting into the Chicken sandwich relevance is just in the right time to have this twice the snacking goodness.
- Food Quality: 4 out of 5
- Affordability: B+
- Overall: Now all they need is a Chicken Big Mac.
