Goldilocks Celebrating 45 Years with A New Bakebook!

11.10.2011 – Goldilocks just recently launched their latest Bakebook honoring their 45 years as the number one bakeshop in the Philippines which started its humble beginnings in 1966. The event was hosted by Ms. Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan dressed in the trademark yellow colors that synonymous with famed baked shop.

It has become part of the Filipino culture through birthdays, wedding, baptism, graduation, anniversary, or just about any get-together event in our lives that Goldilocks was there to provided with signature bakeshop favorites.

The event was held at the Glorietta 5’s Central Atrium where friends and family with the media are present to witness this wondrous occasion. They also presented a audio visual presentation of the beginnings of Goldilocks as well as some preview of recipes that is included in the Goldilocks Bakebook. This is a celebration of how Milagros and Clarita opened their very first Goldilocks store along Pasong Tamo, Makati in May 1966.

The Bakebook also included rare photos of Goldilocks through the years. The founding sisters along with their sister-in-law, Doris shared a passion in baking, cake decorating and cooking that pursued towards perfection by carefully developing each Goldilocks recipe, and by building the company as the brand that we know today.








Freddie Go, Sr., Chairman of the Board of Goldilocks envisioned and began the ground work for this fitting tribute to Mrs. Milagos Yee and Mrs. Clarita Go in bringing this Bakebook. The same book that was developed for seven years can now be available at all National Bookstore outlets (retailed at PhP 795.00 pesos). TV personality Dingdong Dantes the brand’s endorser was also present who got to have his copy of the Bakebook signed by the founders of Goldilocks. Spotted also in the event is actor Albert Matinez who was one of the organizers for this event.

The Goldilocks Bakebooks is a historic collection of 108 recipes, 211 pages of eye catching photos, amd an overview of the company’s beginnings with endless kitchen-testing, and the invaluable effort and dedication of a hardworking team in order to pass on a priceless legacy to loyal Goldilocks consumers and followers.

























Flip through the pages of the Goldilocks Bakebook to discover recipes and make your own sweet Goldilocks moment, the ingredients toward building your own fairytale story just like the two sisters had shared with us what is now one of the iconic brand names in the country.

They also shared some treats that was featured in the Bakebook that mesmerized the crowed and we all know the photos are tempting indulgence that will memorable to everyone who was present in this event today.



















Far from being just another recipe book or coffee table book, The Goldilocks Bakebook is a unique recipe itself, a product of love, devotion, and gratitude to millions of Filipinos who made Goldilocks pa part of their lives.
