Maccas | Breaky with Tomato Relish

02.26.2018 – Breakfast in Australia is not all extravagant it’s just happens some fast-food restaurants has more options that they put the highest quality to be on top of being relevant. McDonald’s here is so much different compared to his counterparts in Asia and other region. They keep it authentic regarding what they serve in their menu.

After an early morning trip to Blackwood meeting getting to know a small community and having a nice chat with everyone it was time to head down and have some grub. Usually, living in a state territory has its own merits and limited of choices when it comes to eating out. But McDonald’s have some interesting things in the morning beside their regular McClassics.

Maccas | Chicken n' Cheese

01.31.2018 – There’s a Chicken Big Mac a few weeks back that was something different from the usual McClassic sandwich and then there’s Chicken n’ Cheese as a loose change offer for a quick bite post-lunch hours passing through the city on a Tuesday afternoon just roaming around Adelaide.

It must be a habit to pass by the Hindley Street Maccas store during the past weeks for those not in the know there are four branches scattered through the city it just so happens that the closest branch is a stone throw away from Rundle Mall.

As the summer heats up there’s nothing like a rush of hunger pangs when they start offering a Chicken n’ Cheese sandwich that pairs up with chips and a tall Freeze.

Maccas | Chicken Big Mac

01.21.2018 – There are a variety of burgers McDonald’s have ever produced. Some are experimental and then there are localize versions of the product.

Good, bad or sometimes terribly trying to be part of McDonald’s but let’s not mince meat on the not-so interesting ones but those that really work for the company and its brand that looks interesting from a foreigner’s perspective.

Enter: Chicken Big Mac, the one and only limited time offer to McDonald’s Australia has landed. Yes, the Big Mac gets reinvented with Chicken instead of Burger meat patties. It’s like the McChicken that became a Big Mac minus the sloppy mayonnaise that comes with it and it’s entirely something new.

Maccas | Gourmet Grilled Chicken Salad

01.10.2017 – McDonald’s is widely known for its Burgers, Fries, and Happy Meals, but not about Salads and Wraps.

In Australia that’s entirely a different perspective when you talk about trying to eat healthy in a fast food restaurant.

But lately McDonald’s is Australia had kept their menu above that kind of food quality.

When you think of salads the first thought in mind was Wendy’s and when it was about wraps you got KFC.

But here in Australia McDonald’s or rather known as “Maccas” is thriving for you to take on their Gourmet Grilled Chicken Salad.

Having a McWrap at Maccas!

12.24.2013 – McDonald’s in Australia is known as “Maccas” to what the Philippines call it “McDo” where Aussies are fond of making names short. It sounded like another fast food restaurant but IT IS a different McDonald’s altogether.

The McDonald’s in Australia is health conscious not comparing it to the Philippines well… You get the idea how Maccas put more effort on your nutrition intake.

What’s so interesting about their menu is they have a wide range of healthy options. In the counter they have this placard saying “The average adult daily energy intake is 8700kj.”
