In every collaboration, the recent dish offered under the Chef Creations have been most impressive when it comes to making Filipino dish be as affordable under the budget at the same time keeping quality that it still feels like a ‘home cooked’ meal that usually a rare thing nowadays.
This third collaboration with Manam Express was unexpectedly bought in a 7 Eleven store that hardly anyone noticed as it is situated in a residential condominium, So this makes sense that buried under the other Chef Creations is this unknown product to most of the general populace who dines in at 7 Eleven.
Noodles and Steak
The packaging matches with the Kare-Kare and Sisig that also Manam Express has produced for 7 Eleven that keeps the theme and aesthetics compared to another Chef Creations. Of course, the font colour this time is purple with the large “Bistek” that you will find in that large font while mentioned that it includes Pancit.
This comes with the usual black microwaveable tray that shows three contents that includes white rice, Bistek, and Pancity neatly divided ready to be heated. The Bistek is frozen with the sauce. The arrangement is better compared to the previous dishes that have either the partition have small openings that the sauce might have escape and mess up the set up unlike this one.
Bistek-alicous Meal
This must have topped better with Manam Express collaboration with 7 Eleven, and it was just right though not perfect. You may want to try this out and find it if this is available at your 7 Eleven. Usually, only selected stores may have this available seeing how this dish is uncommon.
The Pancit is good, but not enough to satisfy, and yet it balances with the steamed rice that’s quite enough to compliment the Bistek. The main dish of course, the Bistek is quite remarkable and authentic. You can never go wrong trying one when you be able to come across with it as not being the usual thing you find in a 7 Eleven.
Overall this dish is really good that it might be one of 7 Eleven’s bestselling dish under the Chef Creations product. You can say it is quite a treat to find one to have it for that lunch. It is worth the find and see how Manam Express pushes the quality within the budget below what you can find in a restaurant and this one’s a hit.
- Food Quality: 5 out of 5
