Coffee Origins 2013 Opening Night!

10.11.2013 – The rain didn’t stop the 11th annual Coffee Origins at the Greenbelt 5 Gallery last night (October 10).

For those drenched in the rain they were given a warm cup since the event served FREE coffee.

The festival is sponsored by Ayala Malls featuring Gourmet’s café, Coffee Roastmasters Alliance (CRAI), Hawaiian Coffee, the ARMM Coffees, The Cavite Coffee Development Board, DTI-Kalinga Coffee groups and DA-AMAS of the Dept of Agriculture.

Coffee Origins is not just about FREE coffee it’s about promoting the local farmers and their brand of brew. Landbank and Peace and Equity Foundation will also showcase their farmer groups who grow coffee, cane sugar and coconut sugar.

The show is sponsored by URC with their products Great Taste Coffees and the official creamer is Cream All also by URC. Official water sponsor is AQUABEST for purified water, which makes a good cup of coffee. Media sponsors are Phil Daily Inquirer, Manila Times, Business World, herword.com and High Life.

Besides the opening night the event was backed up with music and something you should know about this year’s theme. If you missed the unveiling of the event check out these images that was taken from last night’s festivities at the Greenbelt 5 Gallery…

Ayala Malls is happy to provide this Free Coffee treat annually for over 11 years now by giving space to the coffee movers and advocates led by the Phil. Coffee Board Inc. This is a weeklong event that happens every year.

Coffee Origins runs from October 10 to 22, 2013 and will conduct some seminars with other mini events about local farming during the festival.
